Katarzyna Borek was born in the southern mountains of Poland. Surrounded by the mystical beauty of the earth around her, she became an artist who is inspired by nature. Katarzyna’s art includes clay masks, unique flowers arrangements, and mosaic landscapes. Her latest passion is felting head pieces inspired by bird nests. Wool from Virginia sheep, goats and alpaca is used to “build” the nests. Combined with roots, twigs, feathers, silk cocoons and eggshells the nests make a strong fashion statement and reveal her passion for wearable art.
